Hierdie boodskap staan in verband met CCTV
(geslotebaan) kameras wat in Wingatepark aangebring word om misdaad verder te
help bekamp.
Wees asseblief so vriendelik om jou keuse
“VIR” of “TEEN” die projek te gee deur op een van die betrokke skakels onder
aan die epos te klik – jy kan ook jou kommentaar byvoeg op die epos wat
vertoon gaan word.
Die kameras
Drie eksperimentele CCTV kameras is reeds opgerig. –
dit vorm deel van `n weier netwerk van nog meer CCTV kameras in
Wingatepark.
Die aanvanklike toetse is afgehandel en het bevestig
dat dit moontlik sal wees om 'n suksesvolle netwerk van CCTV kameras op
strategiese punte in WP op te rig wat dan in RHEV en Brinant se beheerkamers
gemoniteer kan word.
Inwoners se Privaatheid
Die kameras sal so opgerig word dat geen inwoners se
privaatheid daardeur geskend word nie.
Wie se eiendom is die kameras
Die kameras bly BRINANT se eiendom. Hulle voorsien,
onderhou en vervang die kameras altyd met die nuutste beskikbare modelle.
Koste van die kameras
Sodra die kameras suksesvol funksioneer word die
dienste van ‘n bykomende RHEV-BRINANT reaksie/patrollie voertuig gestaak en
die maandelikse koste wat vir die voertuig betaal word dan maandeliks vir die
gebruik van die kameras aangewend.
Daar is dus geen addisionele koste vir RHEV se rekening
of RHEV se lede tov die kamera projek nie.
Geheimhouding
Sou daar enige misbruik wees van die kameras se video
materiaal deur BRINANT sal die kameras afgeskakel word en betalings aan
BRINANT gestaak word.
Opsomming
Hierdie projek kan misdaadvoorkoming in Wingatepark tot
nuwe hoogtes voer.

message is in connection with the CCTV cameras that are being installed in
Wingate Park for crime prevention purposes.
At
the end of this document you will be asked to voice your opinion “FOR” or
“AGAINST” the installation and utilisation of CCTV cameras in the area. You
may also add your comments to the email that will be displayed.
The
cameras
Three CCTV
cameras are installed and the initial test results meet all the expectations.
The next
additional CCTV cameras will be installed at strategic points in Wingate
Park.
Monitoring
of the cameras
All the
cameras are monitored from a well-equipped RHEV-BRINANT control room.
Secrecy
The CCTV
cameras will be installed in such a manner that they will not intrude on any
resident’s privacy.
Whose
property will the CCTV cameras be
BRINANT-Security
provides, installs and maintains the cameras and it remains their property.
The camera maintenance plan includes the continued upgrading and replacement
of the cameras with the latest models available.
The Cost
of the CCTV Camera Project
BRINANT-Security
purchases the cameras and pays for the installation.
No
additional costs will be paid by RHEV-Wingate Park or its members for this
project.
As soon as
the cameras are fully functional the additional RHEV-BRINANT patrol vehicle
will be withdrawn and the cost that RHEV-Wingate Park currently pays for the
vehicle will be used for payment of the cameras.
Conclusion
The project
can be of great benefit in crime prevention in Wingate Park.
