The Garstkloof dump site is the source of safety and health problems. After many years of effort by the residents, the Garstkloof dumping site will be closed permanently from the 31st of December 2013.

Residents can still dump garden refuse on the Rooihuiskraal and Waltloo dump sites.

Volgens die berig sluit die stortingsterrein by Garstkloof op 31 Desember 2013 na inwoners se jarelange stryd om dit te verwesenlik. Die stortingsterrein is die oorsaak van `n magdom veiligheids- en gesondheidsprobleme in die omliggende woonbuurtes.

Inwoners kan steeds die terreine in Rooihuiskraal en Waltloo gebruik om tuinvullis te stort.
