INCIDENT REPORTS - AUGUST 2013

Throughout the country, people are murdered, raped, robbed and burgled with a steady increase in the number of incidents.

In Wingate Park we too have experienced a steady increase in the number of incidents until the 25th of July when the incidents just stopped for 17 days! During this period no incidents occurred in Wingate Park – or the incidents that occurred were not reported to us.

Kindly tell us of any incidents that you know of that occurred during the said seventeen days.

New Incidents:

24 ste Augustus gedurende die dag rapporteer ‘n inwoner dat rapporteer ‘n oplettende inwoner dat ‘n person met ‘n vragmotor rommel tussen Hans Strydom en Wingatepark aflaai. Hy word met R2,500-00 beboet.

Swawelstraat, Vrydag-nag 18e Augustus die eienaar se nuwe buitesensors word deur betreders ge-aktiveer.

Spartanstraat, Vrydag die 16 Augustus om 03:00 is daar by ‘n Wendyhuis in die erf ingebreek en twee trapfietse gesteel.

24 th August, We appreciate the observant resident that have reported the dumping of rubble/branches between Wingate Park and Hans Strydom road. The culprit will receive his fine of R2500 shortly from the Tshwane officials.

18^th August, Friday night. Swawel street, The residents new exterior censors were triggered by tresspassers.

16^th August, 03:00. Spartan street. the Wendy house on the property was broken into and two bicycles were removed.

We were informed of the following incidents that occurred in Wingate Park.

1. Bam street, Wednesday, 21^st of August 2013. A Vehicle was broken into during the night and the radio was stolen. Nobody has any knowledge of how or where the thieves entered the property.

2. Turf street, Friday the 23^rd of August at 14:30 the resident noticed two trespassers in the garden. When the resident shouted at them they jumped over the property fence and disappeared into the veld towards the Gartskoof Dumping site side.

3. Ketting Street, Saturday the 17^th of August 2013 at 8:00 and 11:00 the resident each time noticed two trespassers in his propert but the fled every time when he made alarm.

Die volgende voorvalle in Wingatepark is onder ons aandag gebring:

1. Bamstraat, Woensdag die 21^steAugustus is gedurende die nag by ‘n voertuig ingebreek en die radio is gesteel. Geen aanduiding kon gevind word van hoe of waar die inbrekers die erf betree of verlaat het nie.

2. Turfstraat, Vrydag die 23ste Augustus om 14:30 gewaar die inwoner twee betreders in die erf. Hy het vir hulle geskreeu waarna hulle oor die heiningmuur gespring en in die veld verdwyn het in die rigting van die stortingsterein.

3. Kettingstraat, Saterdag die 17e Augustus om 8:00 en 11:00 het die inwoner elke keer twee betreders gewaar, sodra hy alarm gemaak het, het hulle verdwyn in die stortingsterein se rigting

Oudtshoorn street, between 01:00 & 04:00, the vehicle main gate was forced open and the gate motor removed

Swawel street, between 0:00 and 04:30. A men’s bicycle, that was not locked away, was stolen.

The Bad news is that criminals mainly target the properties without alarms and the properties with alarms but with no or slow reaction.

PLEASE NOTE

A second armed reaction vehicle have been deployed in Wingate Park, a forth Officer employed and during the night Officers Andre Theron and his colleagues are patrolling the field on the dump site side of Wingate Park.

(Our appreciation for the RHEV-Member's support and contributions to pay for all the costs of the on-foot-patrolling as well as the RHEV-BRINANT Armed Reaction patrolling (13,000 km / pm) in RHEV Wingate Park).

Please be assured that there are frequent meetings in connection with the removal of the vagrants and the closing of the dump site.

Please pray for the safety of the two officers that are patrolling the 800 meters

of Wingate Park fences on the dump site side, during the night. A few nights ago they were thrown with rocks and bricks.
